Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your extensive manufacturing engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and collaborative teammates. You'll lead a team to enhance operational efficiency and quality, ensuring Alstom's commitment to excellence in manufacturing engineering is upheld. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (including Process Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Production), build and maintain a skilled workforce through effective training programs, and much more.
We'll look to you for:

Ensuring the Manufacturing Engineering team is adequately staffed for current and future projects,

Maintaining a skills matrix for the team and constructing an annual training plan,
-
Deploying industrialization standards such as Method Time, EHS, Ergonomics, and Work Instructions,
-
Implementing industrialization methodologies including ICONE, P-FMEA, Control Plan, QRQC, and Task Sequencing,
-
Deploying IS tools for industrialization such as PLM (DELMIA) and ERP (GSI), MES,
-
Coordinating with the PIM to monitor the progress of industrial deliverables and supporting the team during industrialization activities,

Ensuring Method Time is accurately calculated and that Master data are of high quality,

Guaranteeing the quality of deliverables, including Work Instructions and Task Sequencing, and adherence to ergonomics and EHS rules

Degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or other related fields.,

Experience or understanding ofmanufacturing engineering, preferably in the railway industry.,

Knowledge of Process Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, and writing manufacturing work instructions.,

Experience in working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for Bill of Materials, Routings, Configuration follow-up.,

Understanding of Quality standards and Process FMEA, QRQC methodologies.,

Technical experience in line balancing and productivity improvements.,

Proven team management experience.
