A Recovery Technician is to perform duties necessary for the safe and efficient operation of the system. Operations are performed 24 hours a day 7 days a week, 365 days per year.

A Recovery Technician is to perform duties necessary for the safe and efficient operation of the system. Operations are performed 24 hours a day 7 days a week, 365 days per year.
MAIN TASKS
- Respond to system failures to recover vehicles and restore operation. Operate train, doors, switches, train control and power distribution systems in manual mode when directed to do so.
- Manually intervene during downtime/recovery events and or during train, guideway and platform door malfunctions.
- Perform proactive checks and inspections of various subsystems, i.e., APM Rooms, Substations, etc to support the safe and efficient operations of the AirTrain. Perform minor corrective maintenance for issues discovered during these inspections/checks.
- Prepare reports or daily logs as required. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
- Observe all safety practices and procedures to include Standard Operating Procedures.
