Your future role

You'll lead the charge in operational problem-solving for quality issues related to externally purchased parts, making a significant impact on project reliability and cost management. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including Project Managers, Quality Safety Managers, and Engineering), manage the supplier performance during the warranty period, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:
- Ensuring the Supplier quality portal is properly used for Supplier quality warranty issues, including the proper notifications of issues to suppliers,
- Leading progress & monitoring the completion of containment, corrective action, and solution implementation as defined,
- Supporting procurement and contract manager to consolidate CONQ for claim recovery/back charge process,
- Verifying the quality of the description and characterization done by the Alstom team, complementing as necessary to ensure the right understanding of the issue,
- Formally notifying the issue to the supplier and ensuring that the containment action is defined and implemented,
- Ensuring the root cause is validated and the solution will address the root cause,
- Managing Return of Experience from warranty topics and ensuring REX is captured and shared across projects.

- Degree in Technical and/or Quality Engineering,
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality and/or Engineering field,
- Ability to manage cross-functional relationships and work effectively with suppliers,
- Strong leadership with communication and influencing skills,
- Experience or understanding of engineering, validation, field reliability growth, and the railway industry (preferred),
- Knowledge of problem-solving methods and quality analysis tools such as 8D and Ishikawa (preferred),
- Familiarity with FMEA product/process and control plan (preferred),
- Willing to travel.
