Duties : Contribute to the development of the software specification and architecture in collaboration with the software architect. Perform software components detailed design and coding. Set up software development tool chain. Specify, design, prepare, and perform tests and verifications of deliverables. Place software work products under configuration management. Support software / software integration with other software and hardware designers. Sustain the software by defining, building, and running sustainable software applications. Keep informed on the evolution of technologies utilizing techno watch. Contribute to standardization by reusing existing solutions or by implementing reusable solutions, including COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf). Contribute to continuous improvement (RoE : Return on Experience, process, etc.).
Requirements : Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Designer-related occupation.
Up to 10% domestic, 5% international, and 5% client site travel required.
