Job Description
- Chemistry Research
- Conduct fundamental research on the electrochemical behavior of high-energy battery materials.
- Advance electrochemical analysis and material characterization techniques.
- Pouch cell assembly and testing, including cycle testing, safety testing, and other performance characterizations.
- Investigate reaction mechanisms and degradation pathways of anode, cathode, and electrolyte materials.
- Develop, optimize, and implement characterization techniques and protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data and recommend novel electrode and electrolyte materials.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience 10 years of experience in lithium-ion, sodium-ion, or a related battery technology research in an industrial setting.
- Technical Skills
- Deep understanding of battery chemistry fundamentals.
- Strong working knowledge of battery cyclers and potentiostats.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
- Experience in battery modeling and simulation tools will be a plus.
