Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Operations Manager to oversee the procurement, inventory, and maintenance of lab supplies and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience in a research laboratory setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage consumable inventories, solid and hazardous waste collection sites, and shipping/receiving of chemicals.
- Oversee the calibration, maintenance, and repair of laboratory equipment.
- Work closely with scientists and engineers to plan for and install specialty equipment and maintain operations.
- Maintain safe, clean, and orderly laboratory conditions to improve productivity for other lab users.
- Assist with safety reviews for experiments and general procedures.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering discipline such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or similar.
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in a research laboratory setting.
- Familiarity with safe chemical handling, materials safety, solvent handling, waste management, and documentation.
- Training in operations and maintenance of standard chemical lab equipment including fume hoods, gloveboxes, and gas cylinders.
