We are looking for qualified and/or interested entry level engineering technicians to add to our team. Engineering technicians perform field and laboratory testing of concrete, soils, asphalt, and aggregates. We are very interested in candidates with experience and/or education in Construction Materials testing; however, no prior experience is required. Field Technicians will travel to construction sites conducting tests and daily inspections on soils and concrete placement. Daily reports will be filled out and turned in to office personnel. Job includes the use of a company vehicle.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site inspections and documentation
- Communication with clients, general contractors, and others
- Travel to multiple projects in company provided vehicle
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Candidates must have the ability to pass general background check.
- Effective speaking and written communication skills in English
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to routinely lift varying weights from 10-50 pounds
- Experience in the construction field is a plus but not required
- Training and certifications will be provided by the company
