Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate Basketball Coach to join our team and help develop young athletes' skills and sportsmanship. The ideal candidate will have a background in sports coaching, particularly in basketball, and a dedication to educating and mentoring students.
Duties
- Plan and conduct basketball training sessions for individuals or teams
- Teach fundamental basketball skills, strategies, and techniques
- Provide constructive feedback to players to help improve their performance
- Develop practice drills and game strategies
- Monitor and assess players' progress and skill development
- Promote teamwork, discipline, and good sportsmanship among players
- Manage player behavior effectively during practices and games
Experience
- Previous experience in sports coaching, particularly in basketball
- Knowledge of other sports such as swim, Karate, Lifeguard, Judo, or Martial arts is a plus
- Ability to educate and motivate students of various skill levels
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with students or youth populations
