General Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil engineering design, with a strong background in Civil 3D. This role involves collaborating with engineers and project managers to develop detailed civil engineering plans and designs for land development, transportation, and water resources projects.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
- Develop and prepare civil site plans, grading plans, drainage plans, and utility designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Assist in the design and analysis of stormwater management systems using HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, Hydraflow, and Hydraflow Express (preferred but not required).
- Utilize Bluebeam for markup and review of design documents (preferred).
- Work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and assist in preparing cost estimates.
- Review plans for quality control and adherence to company and industry standards.
- Support the preparation of technical reports and construction documents.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality designs within project deadlines.
