The Role:
The Retail Sales Support Specialist position at Alta Forest Products will be responsible for closely collaborating with Alta's internal teams as well as Big Box Retailers to support Alta's retail sales department. This position will oversee the daily and weekly extensive box retail reporting, closely follow market trends, track inventories, and develop logistics strategies for current programs. The ideal candidate for this position will be highly detail-oriented, with strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily reporting of operations with Big Box retailers.
- Establish, maintain, and optimize operational processes to ensure superior customer experience and satisfaction.
- Learn and gain proficiency in operating systems, including Infor M3 and retailer systems like Vendor Drill, Askuity, IDM, etc.
- Represent Alta Forest Products as a knowledgeable, professional, and respected brand ambassador, embodying the image and values of the organization.
- Plan and communicate inventory movements to ensure 98% fill rates.
- Weekly invoicing responsibilities and inventory balancing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related area is ideal
- Detail-oriented with a strong strategic sales approach and analytical thinking a must
- Ability to be collaborative, prioritize, and perform multiple activities
- Manage workload and deadlines with minimum supervision
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, Charts, Macros, Vlookup, formulas, Conditional Formatting, etc.)
- Proficient Powerpoint skills.

Position Type/Travel/Schedule
This is a full-time position (40 Hours), and overtime work may be required as projects or job duties demand. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday.
