Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Charge Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Charge Nurse plays a critical role in overseeing patient care, ensuring compliance with medical protocols, and leading nursing staff in a dynamic hospital environment. This position is essential for maintaining high standards of care in a Rehab/ Post Acute setting. The ideal candidate will be skilled in promoting and restoring residents health by overseeing the management and planning of patient care for duration of the their shift.
Duties
- Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients.
- Manage tube feeding procedures and monitor patients' nutritional needs.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with state regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and address complex medical needs.
- Provide basic life support as required and ensure all staff are trained in emergency protocols.
- Act as a resource for nursing staff, providing guidance and support during shifts.
Requirements
- Current nursing license with relevant experience in a nursing rehab setting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is advantageous.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
