IT TRAINER Location : Memphis, TN (LOCAL candidates only) Hybrid Schedule Contract Duration : 12 Months Start Date : Immediately Rate Negotiable : W-2 Resumes to Criss Brient : cbrient@altaits.com ALTA IT Services is seeking Mid-Level Instructor – Engaging & Dynamic Trainer for a contracting position with an extended engagement of at least one year. This role will focus on both facilitating and developing training for our client’s Workday product. This role will also involve meeting with various departments and groups to : Understand their challenges and training needs Determine if training materials already exist and, if not, develop the necessary resources Deliver training sessions when needed to address identified challenges The candidate must be located in the Memphis, TN area. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement—they will be able to work from home when developing training materials but must be on-site when delivering in-person training sessions or meeting with various departments and groups. Technical Skills 3–5 years of experience in virtual and in-person instructor-led training Ability to develop training materials, including written guides and computer-based training (CBT) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and e-learning tools such as Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia, or similar software Quick learner—able to adapt to new systems and processes efficiently Analytical Skills Ability to assess training needs and tailor instructional approaches accordingly Experience in evaluating training effectiveness and making continuous improvements Strong problem-solving skills to enhance training delivery Communication Skills Exceptional public speaking and facilitation skills—keeps audiences engaged Strong writing skills for creating training materials and documentation Ability to simplify complex topics and communicate them clearly Comfortable with handling Q&A and interacting with diverse groups Organizational Skills Ability to manage multiple training sessions and content development projects Strong attention to detail when structuring training sessions Capable of working independently while ensuring alignment with business objectives Personal Attributes High-energy, personable, and engaging—creates a positive learning environment Self-motivated and proactive—takes initiative without waiting for direction Adaptable and flexible—can adjust to different audiences and training needs Confident yet approachable—builds rapport with learners easily Educational Background Bachelor’s degree preferred in Education, Communications, Human Resources, Instructional Design, or a related field Certifications in training or instructional design (e.g., ATD, CPTM, or similar) are a plus #M2
