Custodian

Alta Max, LLC, a longstanding packaging manufacturer, is seeking a Custodian. Our company is based in the Lakeview Airport area.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Conduct commercial cleaning duties in various settings such as offices and warehouse.
• Buff and polish floors to ensure they are well-maintained and presentable.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts in compliance with company policies.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep.
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
• Respond promptly to custodial requests from staff or management.
• Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.

Skills

• Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing.
• Ability to perform basic facilities maintenance tasks.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.

Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic math skills
High school courses in shop may be preferred for jobs involving repair work

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
