Job Summary
Alta Max, LLC, a legacy defense contractor, is seeking to hire a Quality Control Associate. The Quality Control Associate will inspect the raw materials, in-process production items and final products to make sure that they comply to technical standards and meet customer expectations.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards through effective quality assurance and inspection processes. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Perform quality audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement in production processes.
- Collect and analyze data related to product quality, identifying trends and potential issues.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions based on quality findings.
- Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, audits, and data analysis for reporting purposes.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of quality management systems to enhance overall product quality.
- Support fabrication processes by ensuring that all materials meet specified quality criteria before production.
Requirements
- Read, review and understand material submittals to ensure proper materials are installed and proper techniques are undertaken. * Analyze and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures.

- Testing, materials / product inspection(s) and quality control activities. * Document and track daily production progress in a detailed report as required by Supervising Manager.
- Interact with client representatives and subcontractors regularly to ensure construction details are in compliance with design specifications as required by Supervising Manager.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.80 per hour
