Clearance required : Top Secret / SCI Clearance with Full-Scope Poly

Altamira Technologies is seeking Senior Software Engineers to join our world-class Nation Security Intelligence engineering team in the Ft. Meade, MD area. As a candidate for this opportunity, you should have a good foundation in object-oriented software development and be experienced working in a LINUX or UNIX environment.

The candidate should have a demonstrable understanding of software principles, theories, and concepts related to software engineering (including software development lifecycle and software development process), design patterns and Object-Oriented analysis, design, and programming.

Clearance Requirement :

Applicants must have a current Active TS / SCI  FS Poly security clearance.

Required Skills :

• Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in Information Technology : One (1) year of experience coding in Python (SHADOWSCIENCE)
