Job Title: Lead Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Pay Range: $140,000 - $180,000

Your opportunity

We are looking for a talented technical hands-on Software Developer to build the core components of a few internal and external customer facing interactive web applications. This position will be focused on contributing to a team in development practices, operational standards, platform evolution and platform resiliency. This role will require a high level of responsibility and accountability, and yet has a support structure vital for development growth while continuing to build and grow our platforms.

We are seeking an experienced lead software engineer to take the lead in designing and developing high-performance applications. This role focuses on building scalable services, refactoring core client services, and leading end-to-end testing and test automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving test automation strategies while delivering high-quality, maintainable software.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
2. 7 years of professional experience in software engineering.
3. 7 years of Python, C#, HTML, JavaScript, etc.
4. Experience with modern frameworks and tools (e.g., React, Node.js, Kubernetes, Azure)
5. 2 years of test-driven development and quality automation.
6. Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban).

Preferred Qualifications

1. 2 years of experience in the finance industry
2. Extensive experience with unit, integration and end-to-end testing frameworks.
3. Proven experience in test automation strategies and implementation.
4. Experience in refactoring services to more modern approaches
5. Experience working within the planning and implementation of scalable APIs, ensuring performance and reliability.
6. Proven experience with delivering end-to-end testing efforts to maintain confidence in continuously delivering updates.
7. Firm understanding of the test automation lifecycle for both frontend and backend services to ensure rapid, reliable releases.
8. Strong Ownership of maintaining and improving legacy code, enhancing scalability and performance.
