## Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a critical care setting, demonstrating advanced clinical skills and compassion.

## Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients in the ICU, providing specialized nursing care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create individualized care plans
- Perform procedures such as catheterization and ostomy care
- Utilize acute pain management techniques for patients in critical condition
- Conduct triage assessments and prioritize patient needs
- Document patient progress and respond to changes in status promptly

## Requirements
- Valid RN license and BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting preferred
- Proficiency in Cerner or similar electronic health record systems
- Ability to lift and move patients safely
- Knowledge of pain management protocols in critical care
- Familiarity with dementia care principles is a plus
- Understanding of workers' compensation laws related to healthcare practice
