We are seeking a highly skilled ETL/Snowflake Developer to join our team in a support and maintenance capacity. This role is essential to ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and security of data systems. The candidate will be responsible for handling production support, troubleshooting data pipeline issues, optimizing Snowflake performance, and contributing to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide production support and maintenance for ETL processes and Snowflake data warehouse.
- Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot issues to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Optimize Snowflake database performance and query execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data workflows and system reliability.
- Develop and maintain SQL scripts and Python-based automation for ETL processes.
- Assist in implementing SRE best practices to enhance system stability and scalability.
- Document processes, troubleshooting steps, and solutions for operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- ETL Development & Support: Strong experience in designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting ETL pipelines.
- Snowflake Database: Expertise in Snowflake architecture, optimization, and administration.
- SQL & Database Management: Advanced SQL skills with experience in relational database management.
- Python Programming: Ability to develop automation scripts and data workflows using Python.
- SRE & System Maintenance: Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and incident response in data engineering environments.
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking: Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving data pipeline issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in hybrid environments with cloud-based data platforms.
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices in data engineering.
