Position Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Temporary Access Service Request (ASR) Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately creating and managing ASRs to ensure the seamless provisioning of telecommunications services during a critical project period. This is a temporary position that offers the opportunity to contribute to our operations while gaining valuable experience in the telecommunications field.
Key Responsibilities :
Draft, review, and submit Access Service Requests (ASRs) in accordance with company protocols and industry regulations.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all ASRs, including necessary documentation and technical specifications.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and customer service teams to gather information and clarify requirements for ASRs.
Monitor the status of ASRs and follow up with relevant parties to ensure timely completion and resolution of issues.
Maintain a database of ASRs and related documentation for reporting and compliance purposes.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in ASR creation and management.
Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices related to ASR processes.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in writing and managing ASRs or similar technical documentation in the telecommunications industry.
Strong understanding of telecommunications terminology, processes, and systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems (e.g., CRM, project management software).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with AT&T specific ASR requests
Experience with regulatory compliance related to telecommunications.
Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools.
