Altair Bay Harbor Hotel Miami is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Property Maintenance Associate to join our team. As a Property Maintenance Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the property is well-maintained and runs smoothly. Responsibilities include making repairs to hotel air conditioning systems, performing preventive maintenance on equipment, taking readings on equipment, testing cooling towers, replacing televisions, light switches, receptacles, light bulbs, and fixtures. Additionally, the Property Maintenance Associate performs furniture repair, replaces and repairs pumps, performs plumbing repairs, troubleshoots and repairs kitchen equipment, maintains repair and preventive maintenance records, and adheres to local, state, and Federal codes.
Key Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field required.
- At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- Trade school and/or College coursework in a related field helpful.
