IT Business Architect
Job Summary:
Our client in Troy, MI and Seattle, Washington is looking for an IT Business Architect. This is a contract to direct position.
Looking for an energetic, organized, and experienced IT Business Architect to join our growing team. The IT Business Architect plays a crucial role in aligning an organization's strategic vision with its operational execution. The IT Business Architect will be responsible for gathering and documenting user requirements, documenting data flows and data sources of truth, and leading the project team to ensure successful Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) implementations. The ideal candidate will bring experience with common business processes, strong collaboration skills, and a deep understanding of the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and Analyze Requirements: Work with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
- Documentation: Create detailed business requirements documents, functional specifications, and business process flows.
- Model Creation: Develop detailed business models and technical architectures that align with the organization’s strategy and objectives.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business units and technology teams.
- Project Management: Provide input to project planning and execution to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree: Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Five years of experience in business analysis, technical architecture or a related field.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with business analysis tools and techniques, and a good understanding of IT systems and processes.
- Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
