Job Summary
Our client in Dearborn, MI is looking for an Test Engineer Controls. This is a contract position.

In the position, you will be involved in our efforts in the development of sensors, ECUs, models, and software. The person in this software test position is passionate about the validation and verification of new features.
Basics
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, applicable degree.
- 5 years of professional experience on Software / Requirements Verification projects (Test Suite and Execution for multiple Verification / Validation scopes and integration levels).
- 3 years of professional experience with basic test design.
- Position fully onsite.
- Automation experience.
- Python.
- Experience using version control system.
- Experience working on an agile team with agile practices.
- Experience with continuous integration/deployment tooling.
- Experience with cloud technologies.
- Exposure to Object Oriented and Functional Software Engineering Design Patterns.
- Experience with Secure coding tools and practices.
- Experience in modern software development methodology, such as pair programming, testfirst/test-driven development OR demonstrated delivery of singular focus programming.
- Aware of Industry Software Quality Assurance standards (ASPICE, ISTQB, INCOSE, etc.).
