About Your Work
The Business Consultant will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer of Altais and will play a critical role in supporting our healthcare network development, enhancing payor relationships, and assisting in the execution of key business strategies. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the healthcare industry, including payor relations, network management, and strategic growth initiatives.
You will focus on
Network Development:
- Assist in the development and expansion of our healthcare provider network, including identifying potential partners and opportunities for growth.
- Support the integration of new providers and ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Monitor the performance of the network, making recommendations for improvements and optimization.
Payor Relationships:
- Collaborate with the CEO to build and maintain strong relationships with insurance payors and other key stakeholders.
- Provide insights into trends and opportunities in payor negotiations to enhance contractual terms and service delivery.
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies for improving reimbursement rates and optimizing payer contracts.
Strategic Consulting:
- Provide data-driven recommendations to the CEO for business improvement, including operational efficiencies, growth strategies, and new market opportunities.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform strategic decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with clinical, operational, and financial teams to support the implementation of strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide guidance and support on operational matters to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.
Other Duties:
- Support CEO with additional ad-hoc projects as needed.
- Assist in financial modeling, forecasting, and business planning.
- Stay current on healthcare regulations and trends to advise on compliance and best practices.
The Skills, Experience & Education You Bring
- Strong understanding of healthcare networks, payer relationships, and the business side of healthcare operations.
- Proven track record of working directly with C-level executives to develop and implement business strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable recommendations.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and trends is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in business consulting within the healthcare industry.

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements. Physical Requirements: Office Environment - roles involving part to full time schedule in Office Environment. Based in our physical offices and work from home office/deskwork – Activity level: Sedentary, frequency most of workday.
