ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
T h e Quality Inspector Inspects parts and ma ter i a l s to assure established standards of quali ty are mainta ined. Ensures the quality of workmanship and compliance with specifications on various piece parts and assemblies by making dimensional and mechanical ins pe ctions .
Essential Functions
- Plans a nd carries out projects, selecting app r oaches and methods used in solv i n g prob l ems,
- Conducts p r e lim i nary inspections / receiving for comp li a nc e with spec i fi ca t i ons using blue - pri n ts , drawings and prior knowledge of e n g in eer i ng methods to e v al u ate i f deficiencies are present in systems, structures, assemblies or parts.
- Conducts in process and fi n a l i n spectio ns at various check points to e lim i n ate hold ups, rework, and ensure specification conformance of critica l dimens i ons .
- Interprets tec hnic a l specifications, d i rectives, and relevant pu blica t i ons to i dentify discrepancies and deficien c i es. Assembles pert i n e n t information and materials necessary to effectively accomplish planning, scheduling, i n spectio n, and reports.
- Conducts aud i ts , submits reports a nd recommendations.
- Operates CM M
- Adheres to all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Corr ect l y documents all job ac tiv i t y and tr ans a c t i ons in Quality system
- Adheres to ISO inspec t ion processes
- Other duties as assigned by m a n a ger
