- Lead the day-to-day execution of Altamira’s operational portfolio in our large facility in the Dayton, Ohio area, including revenue generation, program delivery, personnel management, subcontractor coordination, and customer satisfaction across classified contracts.
- Partner with the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) and business development team to shape and implement scalable growth strategies in support of current and future DoD programs and proposals.
- Drive operational rigor across program management disciplines: risk management, staffing, cost control, deliverable oversight.
- Lead and mentor a team of program and operations managers, fostering a culture of high performance, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Interface regularly with government stakeholders, ensuring mission alignment, proactive communication, and long-term customer relationships.
- Collaborate with Finance, Security, Recruiting, and HR teams to optimize internal processes around financial accounting accuracy and invoicing, clearance and SCIF management, performance reviews, and onboarding.
- Ensure compliance with all government regulations, contract terms, and security requirements (DFARS, NISPOM, CMMC, etc.).
- Develop and track KPIs tied to operational effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Engineering preferred. Masters in Business Management or a related field a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in defense or IC government contracting, with at least 5 years in a senior operational leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in managing large, multi-year contracts, particularly in support of NASIC, DIA, NGA, or similar IC entities.
- Experience with proposal operations to include technical solutions, staffing plans, price-to-win, and contributing to business development capture efforts is a plus.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred
- Familiarity with contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF, IDIQ) and program control tools.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Deep understanding of the mission, culture, and operational tempo of the Military and Intelligence Community.
Salary : $225,000
