Altamira is currently seeking a Windows Systems Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating within Agile Scrum teams as a key contributor responsible for the implementation of advanced cybersecurity capabilities, including the selection of hardware and software and the design of infrastructure services required to enable the cybersecurity capabilities
• In-depth knowledge of installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Server operating systems, including various versions.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions, including planning and implementing strategies to protect data and ensure business continuity.
• Strong skills in managing users, groups, permissions, and applying policies to control access and system settings
• Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V to manage virtualized environments
• Skills in monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing systems for efficiency
  
  

Requirements & Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship
• Active Secret clearance; able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
• 3-5 years of experience in Windows systems engineering or a related field is typically required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is often preferred
• Strong communication and written skills for collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders
