What You’ll Do
As a Real Estate Loan Officer, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to our members, guiding them through the home loan process with clarity and care. You'll build relationships that last, while helping members reach one of life’s biggest milestones—homeownership. Your primary responsibilities will include:
✔ Assist members through all stages of the mortgage application process—from pre-approval to closing
✔ Offer clear, informed guidance on mortgage options, including FHA and VA loans
✔ Maintain strong knowledge of mortgage industry rules, regulations, and trends
✔ Build trust with members and support their long-term financial success
✔ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient processing and excellent service
✔ Actively participate in community events and networking opportunities to build and maintain strong referral relationships with local realtors, builders, and community partners
✔ Represent Altana as a trusted local financial partner through networking, volunteerism, and public engagement
✔ Promoting Altana’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values in every interaction
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking individuals who are detail-oriented, service-driven, and eager to grow within our organization. Our ideal candidate will have:
✔ Three to Five years of mortgage lending experience preferred, including knowledge of FHA and VA lending
✔ Understanding of mortgage industry regulations
✔ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
✔ Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple files and deadlines
✔ A passion for helping others and a drive to provide top-notch service
