Altano North America is seeking to fill the key supporting role of Talent Acquisition Coordinator for the Altano North America Corporate Team. The successful candidate will be extremely detail-oriented, thrive in multi-tasking, be inspired by taking on new projects that require creative development, and engage with industry professionals at events. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be part of a team that values collaboration, creativity, and passion as we work toward our goals. This position is located in Lexington, Kentucky, and includes a combination of remote and on-site work. Travel will be required for specific periods of time for recruiting events. The ideal candidate will have equine industry experience, a college degree or three years of experience in recruiting logistics, and strong business and oral communication skills.
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will have an integral role in our organization, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, occasional work after-hours, and on weekends. Talent Acquisition Coordinator Responsibilities
Assist with recruiting efforts & projects, including:
- Strategic oversight of recruiting and talent acquisition software to ensure all applicants in North America are captured in the program; post doctor and non-doctor jobs for network practices; coordinate development of practice-specific communication for positions; support development of extern tracking and communication via software.
- Organization of recruiting events such as OEPS, AAEP, and career fairs by completing registration, organizing shipping of supplies, including booth, brochures, and giveaways, setting up and taking down the booth, and tracking student engagement KPI.
- Attend recruiting events and passionately engage with attendees.
- Communicate weekly with practices to compile extern contact information and organize distribution of Externship Program Evaluation.
- Research, build, and proactively oversee a database outlining university contacts, job fairs, and job sites to share practice-specific student program information.
- Timely organization of travel reimbursement submissions to accounting for doctor applicants and travel stipend winners.
- Support practices with externship program development, focusing on established best practices, including training the practices regarding pre-externship communication, onboarding, touch points, and post-externship expectations.
- Creatively write job postings in the Altano spirit that are specific to network practices, with a unique emphasis on what makes each location special. Posting jobs on external sites such as ACVS, ACVIM, AAEP, AAEVT, etc.
- Provide practice support by shortlisting and interviewing doctor and practice manager applicants. Draft offer letters in coordination with the Head of Talent Acquisition.
Assist with marketing projects, including:
- Designing student program flyers for practices, writing creative and inspiring content, sourcing high-quality images, updating flyers as needed, and printing flyers for events.
- Management of ordering and maintaining appropriate quantities of promotional materials such as brochures and giveaways.
- Provide support with writing inspiring social media content and creating original images for Altano Career pages.
Assist with additional responsibilities:
- Perform other duties as assigned.
