Supply Chain Analyst Entry Level / New Grad opportunities will be responsible for quoting, purchasing, and expediting materials and supplies from vendors.
As well as maintaining vendor relationships, focusing on quality, cost and delivery. - Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree required A degree in one of the following majors preferred : o Business o Supply Chain Management o Operations Management
- Prior industry experience preferred.
- Knowledge of supply chain principles and concepts preferred.
- Prior Oracle experience preferred.
- Prior interaction with Altec team at a recruitment event highly preferred. Potential Responsibilities :
- Maintain supplier performance scorecards, which evaluate suppliers in regards to quality, delivery and cost.
- Maintain supplier documents and assist in evaluating potential suppliers.
- Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and Kaizen activities.
- Authorize payment of invoices
- Negotiate prices, discount terms and transportation for merchandise.
- Purchase and expedite all components and services related to the manufacture of finished product, maintenance, repair and operations requirements.
- Initiate cost savings opportunities with suppliers.
