Responsibilities PURPOSE OF POSITION : Provide excellent systems user experience through installation, troubleshooting, and / or repair of computer hardware and software MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Resolves simple technical issues
- Provides excellent customer service to systems users
- Works as part of a systems team EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED :
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline strongly preferred, but consideration may be given to an exceptional candidate with Associate's degree or IT technical certifications. OTHER POSITION SPECIFICATIONS :
- Good analytical, verbal and written skills required
- Participate in continuous improvement events
- Maintain company confidentiality
- Interact with users for system clarifications and requirements
- Write system and process documentation
- Provide user support for Altec associates via phone, email and in person
- Willingness to work outside standard business hours to resolves issues or complete special projects
- Track and maintain constant communication with the customer from the beginning to the end of any established case, issue, or concern
- Remain highly adaptable
- All other duties as assigned.
