About the Role:
Altech is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect / System Integrator to join our Specialized Services team, supporting NASA's Office of Strategic Infrastructure (OSI), Facilities and Real Estate Division (FRED) IT initiatives. This role focuses on delivering enterprise analytics and operational technology solutions for utilities and building systems, specifically within Department of Defense and Federal Agency environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a Program Plan aligned with NASA’s Institutional Analytics goals.
- Identify and document 20 common facility assets and fault detection rules for an Initial Institutional Analytics Capability.
- Create enterprise data standards to support system-wide analytics implementation.
- Draft a comprehensive Data Governance Guide, including standards and implementation instructions.
- Develop and document system integration plans and architectural designs.
- Assess system requirements and recommend tailored solutions.
- Implement detailed plans and advise on policies and procedures related to program-specific needs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and at least 12 years of relevant experience (experience may be substituted for a degree in certain cases).
- Proven leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and compliance, including ASHRAE 223P.
- Expertise in utilities and building systems analytics, especially within Department of Defense and Federal Agencies.
- In-depth knowledge of system integration methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience planning, executing, and managing complex system integration projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with AVEVA PI system.
Work Environment:
- Primary work location is at NASA Langley Research Center.
- Local remote work may be considered for candidates residing within 50 miles.
Salary : $130,000 - $140,000
