The Low Voltage Power Network team is critical in every project, every platform and every vehicle. Our group focuses on power generation, power distribution, power conversion and energy storage by creating and maintaining the vehicle's low voltage architecture. This position will focus on collaboration and coordination with global component owners that require low voltage circuit protection for Conventional Diesel, Electric, and Autonomous vehicle platforms on medium and heavy duty commercial vehicles.
- Documentation support of Power Distribution Module Global Consumer List
- Advancing Excel-based Global Consumer List into ELM Suite or similar version-controlled application
- Daily collaboration with component owners to assess circuit protection needs and requirements
- Daily collaboration with wiring design colleagues to match circuit protection strategy with wiring harness strategy
- Creation and maintenance of circuit pinout documentation for power distribution modules
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, or closely related field, from ABET accredited university OR 1-2 years experience
- Strong conceptual knowledge of fuses, relays, circuit breakers
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Experience in power distribution systems for low voltage systems
Salary Range : $70,000-75,000
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
