MECHANICAL ENGINEER-DESIGN : Coordinate engineering designs and systems with purchasing, suppliers, testing team, manufacturing team, other vehicle subsystems and functions. Support the engineering activities creating 3D layouts and 2D drawings using CATIA and 3D experience. Initiate and follow up the design of complex assemblies, associated drawings, engineering specifications / standards and validation processes as required. Prepare and evaluate light reflection and vibration simulations using Ansys. Work with suppliers to create material specifications and requirements of the components. Support production through continuous product engineering, problem solving, and warranty reduction. Perform human factors investigations to ensure the design feasibility for the vehicle interiors.Requirements : Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Renewable Energy Engineering with 6 months experience. 40 hr / wk, $72,467 / yr.
