SYSTEMS TEST ENGINEER : Support wireless connectivity feature testing and validation field trips for urban, dense and congested environment testing in Michigan. Engineer, develop, execute, validate serial communication in passenger vehicle (passenger car, truck and sport utility vehicle) network Controller Area Network (CAN) bus database for full ICE (Internal combustion engine) vehicles. Capture CAN bus traffic from vehicle / Bench using CAN case hardware and perform analysis using CANoe. Analyze captured CAN communication logs of vehicle subsystem ECU, system debug logs and identify the root cause of issues found from system tests. Perform Over the Air (OTA) software loading, and Over the Air (OTA) service activation, deactivation, and re-activations. Validate Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Over the Air (OTA), Global Positioning System (GPS) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) features. Suggest solutions and lead enhancement to software validation procedures, processes, and practices. Please see our website for more info / duties.
