As a Hardware Design Release Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electronic hardware systems, which will involve the development of both analog and digital circuits. Your contributions will be essential to the success of SED s development projects within the aviation and defense sectors!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform circuit analysis and traceability from user s requirements to formal design and implementation.
- Support and inspect the installation, modification, testing and operation of electronic components, systems and equipment.
- Debug and troubleshoot hardware circuits.
- Determine FMEA at Board and Component levels.
- Integrate hardware into embedded system environment, including test bench and on aircraft at customer sites.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with minimum 3 years of experience in the design and development of electronic products and/or embedded systems, sub-systems and analog/digital modules
- A background in control systems, avionics, aerospace, or high-reliability products would be considered a plus.
- Experience with embedded microprocessors (ARM, PowerPC, etc.) and FPGA would be considered a plus
- Familiarity with VHDL, Orcad, Labview is preferred.
- Must be comfortable working with documentation.
- Ability to work in a verification environment, utilizing debugging and profiling tools.
