Job Description: Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Supplier Program Management Specialist (Level 6) to support the Executive Fleet. This role is hybrid (can be located anywhere but up to 50% travel will be required).

Position Responsibilities:
Collaborates with key Boeing suppliers for the executive transport programs in San Antonio
Manages supplier production, performance, and capabilities
Integrates with engineering and program stakeholders
Oversees technical and business guidance to critical suppliers and programs
Advises and assists supplier in improving processes, capabilities, and understanding of Boeing business practices
Serve as program manager, working with internal subject matter experts and external consultants, as needed
Leads strategic supply chain activities to manage work with suppliers
Analyze data, identify root causes, and present creative solutions for supplier performance
Leads supplier assessments and the development of recovery plans, corrective and preventative actions. Leads the development of company or business unit procurement strategies
Manages all aspects of supplier and stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases
Actively lead and execute various improvement activities and initiatives to ensure maximum supplier performance
Demonstrate daily commitment to safety and operational excellence
Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders.
Manages work movement plans.
Serves as supply chain technical integrator for design engineering and configuration management
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
5 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
5 years of experience creatively solving problems and generating alternatives
5 years of experience leading and managing diverse teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher
3 years of experience in the production, modification and/or conversion of airplanes
Proficient experience using project management tools & best practices
Experience in cross-functional leadership, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication
Experience developing & integrating strategic projects and initiatives to meet business goals
Experience leading team of project managers
Experience in a role that required organizational skills with the capability to prioritize, facilitate and coordinate multiple projects
Travel:
Up to 50% travel required to supplier sites
