Identifies, analyzes and documents requirements for network transport technologies and services. Researches, creates, deploys and documents network designs. Performs network maintenance and restoration. Provides cost estimates for both labor and non-labor budget planning. Coordinates high level implementation planning for strategic multi-technology insertion projects.
Required skills / qualifications :
- Three years' experience with Cisco networking equipment
- Knowledge of network communication concepts, principles and architectures, associated with network planning, design, integration and maintenance. End-to-end knowledge of network transport technologies, systems, environments, services, protocols, performance monitoring and diagnostic analysis.
- Knowledge of and the ability to utilize communications and network tests (e.g. sub-system, system, installation, performance, operational, built-in test, qualification, acceptance). Knowledge of test methodologies for voice and data networks and communications equipment.
