Job Title: Territory Representative
Reports To: Sales Support Operations Supervisor
Job Status: Hourly
Job Locations: Remote position. Must reside in city or surrounding area.

Basic Job Functions:
As a Territory Representative, the primary objective will be to establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to provide service, arrange sets, reconcile inventory, identify cross-merchandising opportunities in order to support and drive additional sales growth. Serving as the key point of contact, you will provide customers with product information, technical support, and solutions to meet their needs. Additionally, you will stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities and enhance our competitive position.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers within the assigned territory.
- Create awareness and product introductions for store employees.
- Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, service requests, and escalations.
- Conduct regular visits to customer locations to assess needs, address concerns, and provide proactive support.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their requirements and ensure satisfaction with products and services.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to promote additional products and services that align with customer needs and business objectives.
- Maintain and Support:
- Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and educational workshops for customers to enhance their understanding and utilization of our offerings.
- Manage and maintain customer accounts, including processing orders, reconciling inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of products and services.
- Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Collect voice of customer information and elevate accordingly.
Requirements
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience working in customer service, merchandising, sales or related field preferably in building materials or related industries.
Required Skills/Competencies:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in customer service, account management, or related field.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Technical aptitude and ability to learn about complex products and services.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Travel:
- Each month, travel as much as 2 weeks and maintain local stores additional weeks.
Physical Requirements:
Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, and to stand, walk, reach, climb and balance, stoop, kneel crouch and crawl, bend or lift up to 50 pounds. Ability and willingness to climb up to 12 feet on ladders
Salary : $58,000 - $70,000
