Sr. CAD Engineer - Door Trim
- Required Skills & Qualifications:
At least 3 years of hands-on experience working with door trim components - 5 years of background in cockpit design and development
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 for 3D modeling and design
- Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Familiarity with key interior manufacturing processes, including:
- Wrapping
- Injection molding
- Painting
- Compression molding
- Experience in material selection, particularly polymers for interior part
Role Overview:
- Take the lead on designing premium interior door trim systems for Lucid’s high-end vehicle lineup
- Propose and apply best-in-class part interface solutions that support high craftsmanship standards while balancing cost and customer value
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including design, engineering, and testing—to ensure performance and quality standards are met through the development cycle
Salary Range:$100,000-105,000
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
