Business Analyst – Software Implementation

Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Managers to craft application solutions that align with business needs.
- Leverage your functional knowledge of assigned technologies within the Sunrise environment.
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and define detailed business requirements.
- Serve as the primary liaison between technology vendors, internal IS teams, and business users for smooth implementation.
- Transform business requirements into comprehensive designs, user story maps, and functional specifications.
- Prepare and deliver critical documentation, including design documents and business process workflows.
- Partner with development teams throughout the build, configuration, and user testing stages to ensure successful implementation.
- Configure applications and facilitate user requests related to software solutions.
- Ensure all software implementations meet rigorous business specifications and quality standards.
- Demonstrate new software functionalities to business users, capturing and integrating feedback.
- Review vendor documentation and user manuals to provide robust product support.
- Interface directly with business users to resolve escalated support issues.
- Actively participate in user focus groups, requirements workshops, and vendor training sessions to enhance implementation processes.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in business process and functional support, with a focus on software implementation.
- 1-2 years of experience in clinical settings or EHR support is preferred.
- Expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis, stakeholder management, and process modeling.
- Superior communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in business analysis documentation related to software implementation.
- Familiarity with Agile Principles is a plus.
- This is a fully remote role, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the US, ideally within the Eastern time zone.
- Occasional travel may be required for business purposes – up to 10%.
