We are hiring a Data Analyst with strong analytical skills and healthcare experience to join our Enterprise Analytics team. The ideal candidate will extract, analyze, and visualize data from PIH Health's electronic health records (EHR), financial systems, and operational systems to identify trends, optimize workflows, and enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze structured and unstructured healthcare data to identify trends and opportunities for operational and clinical improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and refine reporting needs, ensuring deliverables meet business objectives.
• Design and optimize data models, pipelines, and workflows to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  
  

BI Solution Development:

• Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, and DB tools to support hospital leadership in decision-making.
• Create user-friendly visualizations and reports to highlight key performance indicators (KPIs) and support decision-making.
  
  

Collaboration and Support:

• Partner with business analysts, report writers, and leadership to define BI requirements and strategies.
• Provide end-user training, documentation, and technical support to promote adoption of BI tools.
  
  

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  
  

Experience:

• 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
• Strong SQL skills – ability to write and optimize queries to extract and manipulate data.
• Proficiency in Tableau and/or Power BI for data visualization and dashboard development.
• Experience with Python, R, or SAS for data analysis and predictive modeling is a plus.
• Knowledge of ETL processes, data warehouses, and interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, CCD, etc.) is preferred.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Master's degree in Healthcare Analytics, Data Science or related field.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR's) preferably Allscripts EHRs
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS) and big data technologies

$82,058—$106,675.50 USD
