Assistant Plant Manager - Dry-Cleaning

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Asst. Plant Manager to work closely with Plant Manager to oversee our dry-cleaning and laundry operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence. This role requires a strong background in dry-cleaning plant management, lean manufacturing principles, and a commitment to continuous process improvement.

Duties

• Manage daily operations of the plant to ensure production goals are met while adhering to quality standards.
• Implement and oversee supply chain management strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
• Drive process improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing techniques to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop operational plans that align with company objectives.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports on plant performance for Plant Manager.
• Lead, mentor, and develop plant staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
• Oversee maintenance of equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance through regular inspections and repairs.

Experience

• Proven experience in plant management or operations management within a dry-cleaning environment.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes
• Familiarity with quality control standards and practices.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements that drive efficiency and reduce waste.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving common goals.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

* Must have Experience working in Dry-Cleaning and Laundry Plant.

* Must have experience Invoicing, tagging, and customer facing experience in a dry-cleaning laundromat environment

* Must have experience pressing garments, light spotting and dry-cleaning ability

* Must have experience working in dry-cleaning processing plant - This Plant produces cleaning for 5 pilot locations..

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
