Job Responsibilities
As a Account Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for the following:
- Understanding patient accounts,
- Set up of patient accounts with accurate insurance information,
- Providing timely and accurate statements to our insurance partners and customers,
- Maintain resident accounts with timely cash posting,
- Complete documentation on account activities,
- Work cooperatively with both nursing facility and home office staff to resolve accounts, and
- All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Ability to use Word, Excel and Outlook
- Be detail oriented and have the ability to work within a team
- Understanding of medical insurance is a plus
- Experience with accounts receivable or insurance software is a plus
