Job Responsibilities
As the Director of Nursing you are responsible for establishing and implementing standards of resident care on a 24-hour basis.
Additional responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of nursing service objectives, facility and departmental policies and procedures, standards of practice, methods of coordination of the nursing services with other disciplines and adherence to all corporate, state and federal requirements.
- Assists in the development of the facility's annual budget and monitors the departmental expenditures.
- Operates the healthcare components in accordance with the established policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
- Coordinates nursing service with community agencies, physicians, families, residents, consultants, ancillary service providers and other departments within the facility.
Job Requirements

- Education: BSN preferred.
- Experience: 5 years in Skilled Nursing preferred.
- Certificate/ License: (1) Current licensure in the state employed (2) CPR certification and (3) driver’s license preferred.
