Alternative Compassion Services is seeking out a FULL TIME (32 hours) EXPERIENCED motivated, hardworking, positive individuals to join our team! We are a locally owned and operated seed-to-sale facility in Bridgewater, MA. Schedule will have Sunday & Monday availability requirement. The Cultivation Agent provides on-site cultivation for one or more medical cannabis gardens. The Cultivation Agent completes tasks assigned by the Cultivation Manager to monitor and maintain plant production and health. The Cultivation Agent maintains quality control measures to ensure high-quality product. The Cultivation Agent maintains organization, cleanliness, and efficiency of production area. The Cultivation Agent carries out day-to-day plant care, including watering, pruning, harvesting, and trimming. The Cultivation Agent monitors and maintains plant production and quality control measures in accordance with the State of MA and standards set by ACS.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- Cannabis Cultivation experience, required.
- Two years of experience in general gardening production, preferably of a regulated crop producing for human consumption.
- Possesses knowledge of horticulture and benefits of medicinal marijuana
- Experience in a fast-paced environment, preferred.
- Ability to work in an evolving industry and challenging environment, required.
- Accurate data-entry and record keeping, required.
- Experience with an inventory system, preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, time management and multi-tasking abilities, required.
- Superior customer service skills, required.
- Proficient in Windows-based software and internet navigation, required.
- Knowledge of current state and local Massachusetts medical marijuana laws and regulations, required.
- Ability to stand, sit, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods of time, required.

CORE JOB DUTIES
Plant Care
- Measure and mix nutrient and plant applications, feed plants according to ACS policy.
- Ensure plant health by taking measures including, but not limited to, pruning, topping, trimming, and analyzing plant health according to ACS policy.
- Assist Lead Growing Agent with rotation of strains through garden to ensure variety and quantity of grow operation.
- Assist Production Manager with moving of plants during harvest, including all logging of weights in Biotrack of the plants that are removed, and filling of the drying racks with the logged plants.
- Assist with grinding and disposing of Green Waste.
- Daily inspection of irrigation equipment in the grow rooms.
- Daily walk-through of all grow areas to ensure all equipment is in working order.
- Daily inspections of plants for overall health, pests, disease, or sex change.
- Daily run-off tests of pH and EC.
- Perform trellising and staking as directed by the director of cultivation and/or lead growing agents.
- Perform training and topping of plants as directed by the director of cultivation and/or lead growing agents.
- Perform foliar sprays as directed by the director of cultivation and/or lead growing agents.
- Move plants through plant phases as directed by the director of cultivation and/or lead growing agents.
- Perform the daily feeds of the clones.
- Inspect all clones and monitors the health of each clone.
- Perform daily wiping of clone domes.
- Perform venting of clone domes as directed by the director of cultivation and/or lead growing agents.
Facility Cleaning
- Perform all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe cultivation facility. If something is a hygienic hazard to product or employees, notify supervisor immediately.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of all cultivation equipment and tools, including, but not limited to, light reflectors, containers, mixing tools, application tools, and ventilation equipment.
- Maintaining personal hygiene, including changing clothes into sterile scrubs daily to lessen contaminants in the grow house.
Reports and Documentation
- Assist the Director of Cultivation or designee with tracking plants from birth to harvest by ensuring proper and accurate documentation for applicable activities.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all plant tracking numbers, lot numbers, and all other applicable information.
- Maintain zone log of all plant rooms.
- Document the application of all nutrient and/or substances applied to any plant located within the cultivation facility, according to ACS policy.
