What are the responsibilities and job description for the LMSW/CADC position at Alternative Correctional Healthcare?
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients
- Develop and implement behavioral therapy interventions
- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to address patient needs
- Collect and analyze data to measure patient progress and treatment effectiveness
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
Requirements:
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) certification
- Experience working in a correctional setting preferred
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Familiarity with coding and documentation requirements for insurance reimbursement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
