ALEX - Alternative Experts is now hiring a CAD Specialist for an immediate on-site opening in Arlington, VA. The selected candidate will support the United States Department of Defense (DOD) by providing CAD and drafting support services within a large secure facility. This includes 2D / 3D drafting in support of various engineering disciplines (Architectural, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Security, Furniture / Equipment, Life Safety, & Automated Controls).
Requirements
- Professional experience using Bentley MicroStation and AutoCAD software.
- Understanding of engineering drawings and a master record drawing repository.
- Experience creating, modifying, converting drawing records.
- Experience handling customer requests and providing exceptional customer service.
- Experience conducting QA / QC on facility drawing records.
- Standardize new or existing CAD drawings.
- Ability to walk long distances outdoors to enter and exit facility as well as conduct surveys.
