What are the responsibilities and job description for the Agency Services Coordinator position at Alternative HR, LLC?

As an Agency Services Coordinator, you’ll provide administrative support to internal staff and external agents in the health insurance market.
This is NOT a commission-based position! We offer a market competitive base wage plus health insurance and ancillary benefits with a total compensation package value nearing $60k per year!
Here’s what you’ll get to do:
- Perform a mix of insurance-related administrative functions
- Work with agents to submit information to carriers and track completion and approval
- Prepare and check insurance forms and related documents; call agents or other involved parties to obtain missing information from applications or forms
- Work with multiple carriers and their processes to file applications, forms or data entry for insurance policies, and insurance transactions
- Send email communications, to include reporting, and track completion if applicable
- Receive inquiries by phone or email, and route calls and communication to specific staff members
- Run quotes and calculate premiums for agents
- Perform various administrative functions including data entry to CRM, entering information into carrier platforms, filing, maintaining office inventory and ordering supplies
