We’re CO-OP — a design-oriented architectural firm with a community-building focus made up of 30-some architects, interior designers, and generally nice humans in Sioux Falls, Rapid City, and Aberdeen, SD. We do commercial work, including education, office, mixed-use, historic preservation and planning projects. We believe in better design in our own backyard. Our team is passionate about architecture and design and is looking for great teammates to join us. We want motivated, intelligent people who can contribute to our office culture. Due to growth, we are seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to help be the backbone of our office in Sioux Falls!
The Administrative Assistant is an essential member of the CO-OP team, assisting in many aspects of the company’s day-to-day operations. Most critically, the Administrative Assistant serves as a right hand to the firm’s leadership team. This role requires somebody who is a good communicator, a quick study, and a versatile team player. This position is anticipated to be part-time, offering between 20-30 hours per week, with flexibility of schedule during normal business hours of 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
A few qualities we are looking for in this role include experience supporting an office environment, a positive, friendly attitude with an openness to learn, excellent soft skills including the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively and with sensitivity to workplace dynamics; ability to use, or quickly learn to use office equipment such as phone systems, copier/scanner/printer, knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
