Position Title: Titan Learning Academy Dean of Students 2025-2026 SY
Campus: Titan Learning Academy
Reports To: Principal
Contract: 190 days

SUMMARY: The Dean of Students is a vital member of the leadership team and should assist in setting the vision for achieving and sustaining high levels of student achievement and strategically implementing the school’s mission through effective leadership of all stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, parents and the community. The Dean of Students will actively supervise students at all times and assist with designated student discipline per the principal’s direction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the principal in articulating a clear and compelling vision founded on strong and sustainable student achievement outcomes.
- Assist in promoting high standards and expectations for all students and staff for academic performance and responsibility for behavior.
- Manage, evaluate and supervise effective and clear procedures for the operation of the school consistent with its mission and goals including instructional programs, extracurricular activities, discipline systems to ensure a safe and orderly climate, building maintenance, program evaluation, personnel management, office operations and emergency procedures.
- Establish a professional rapport with students and staff. Display the highest ethical and professional behavior and standards when working with students, parents and school personnel. Serve as a role model for students, dressing professionally, demonstrating the importance and relevance of learning, accepting responsibility and demonstrating pride in the education profession.
- Foster a positive school climate by assessing, planning, and communicating with the school community; promoting distributive leadership while demonstrating understanding of and respect and appreciation for cultural diversity.
- Ensure compliance with all laws, Board policies and District procedures.
- Communicate regularly with parents, seeking their support and advice, so as to create a cooperative relationship to support the student in the school.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATION:

Evidence of significant and consistent personal and professional achievement
-
Master’s degree
- Valid Arkansas Building Level Administrative License
- A current Arkansas teaching license

5 year(s) of experience as a classroom teacher with a proven record of high achievement AND
-
A clear understanding of culturally responsive pedagogy and leadership
-
Experience teaching or supporting English Language Learners preferred
